Video motion detection wakes your camera. It immediately starts to record video to the hub.
Artificial intelligence assesses the situation
AI on the PoE hub separates potential threats like humans from useless events, such as cars driving by.
Live guards evaluate and engage
The PoE hub streams the live video feed to Deep Sentinel’s secure cloud. A guard assigned to the live video stream decides whether an intervention is necessary.
Guard intervenes
Guards intervene directly using the PoE camera’s 2-way audio and/or built-in alarm.
Law Enforcement Contacted
Guards call local law enforcement and the property owner. Calls are taken seriously because we report a verified active situation and provide details like a suspect description.

Do Power-over-Ethernet cameras require installation?
If your home or business is not already pre-wired for Power-over-Ethernet cameras, we highly recommend professional installation. Whether you want a Deep Sentinel PoE camera system or a certified third-party camera system, give us a call. We’ll happily connect you with a local installer in your area.
Can I access my security footage?
Your security footage is stored in the cloud, and can be easily accessed through your Deep Sentinel mobile app. Through our app, you can also access your live security feed and communicate through your PoE security camera’s 2-way speaker the same way our live guards do.
Does my Power-over-Ethernet security camera system require internet connection?
In order to make the best use of your third-party PoE cameras, you will need internet service readily available at your property. Since the security cameras work hand-in-hand with live remote guards, we require an internet upload speed of at least 2.4mbps per camera in order to stream the footage back to our Live Sentinel center.
Can I use my existing wireless cameras? (Ring, SimpliSafe, etc.)
At this time, third-party camera integration is only available for select Power-over-Ethernet models. We will continue to update this page as more camera models become certified for use with Deep Sentinel’s live guard services.

Why is Deep Sentinel only available for select third-party PoE cameras?
Deep Sentinel’s remote guards use advanced AI and live verbal engagement with suspects to prevent crime. We thoroughly test each third-party camera model to ensure that the integration will be successful and that our services work as intended. Cameras without the needed hardware (e.g. two-way audio) will not reap the full benefits of using Deep Sentinel.
What if my PoE cameras don't have speakers?
Deep Sentinel’s security services are designed for use with PoE cameras that integrate two-way audio. However, you can still use Deep Sentinel with certified cameras that don’t have built-in audio or speakers. We offer a security bullhorn add-on for your system that can scare criminals away with ear-splitting noise.
What is required to get Deep Sentinel's live surveillance service for my third-party cameras?
In order to engage Deep Sentinel’s services, you’ll need the following:
- Certified PoE cameras
- Deep Sentinel’s smart PoE hub
- If your existing cameras do not incorporate speakers, a security bullhorn add-on
- Deep Sentinel’s Live Guard service, which requires a 1-year minimum contract. The service has a free 30-day trial to ensure your satisfaction. After the trial, you can opt for monthly payments or pay for the year of service upfront.
